What are the manifest and latent functions of going to school?
I think the explicit fun to go to school is to help them build up the
knowledge they need to live and help them find a job in the future. However, this goal
is altered, creating an environment in which students build up their knowledge
in excessive competition. Thus,
students are more likely to be competing to acquire more accurate knowledge
than other children, rather than to realize the joy of building knowledge. And instead of
choosing a career that suits your aptitude and interests, you will find a
career that matches your grade
I think that the
potential for future schooling is to develop social skills. This is because
you can spend time with your peers and develop your social skills naturally. On the other hand,
there are students who become bullied in the process of being friends with
their peers. Children
with wounds that have been bullied during their school days have difficulties
getting along with other people even after they become adults and go out into
society.
