Q: What is more important - our genes or our environment?
A: I think the environment is more important. Environment is an important factor that affects gene expression. No matter how good a gene is born, a good gene is useless unless its genetic makeup is supported by an environment in which it can be expressed. A simple example is the 'wolf boy' who was born with human genes but grew up in a nest of wolves isolated from society. Conversely, if you are not born with excellent genes, you can grow through education and learning.
