Q. Korea is aging – What can the government
do about them?
A.The standard for aging is the ratio of the elderly population to infants.
Then, in order to overcome an aging society, one must deliberately eliminate
the elderly or create infants. However, it is virtually impossible to eliminate
the elderly population. After all, the nation must implement policies to
increase the birth rate. The government should implement policies to support
childbirth incentives and reduce the cost of marriage for young people. Also, I
think creating a lot of elderly jobs to keep older people from remaining
unemployed is one of the government's ways of dealing with an aging society.
