Gender roles-or what is expected of men and women in home and workplace?

There are types of gender stereotypes and gender roles required for men and women. First, at home, women play the role of a housewife in charge of household chores and childcare, and men are the breadwinners in charge of income.
The social climate that forces men to "manhood" also has many limitations in their career choices. In the fashion industry and beauty industry, men still have a lot of negative views. This is even worse when it comes to the service industry. However, this is different from wages and corporate treatment. In fact, men have a strong advantage in short-term and promotions.
There are also many remaining female gender roles in Korea. Even in Korea, where double-income households are becoming the absolute majority, women are burdened with housework and childcare. This is because domestic work and childcare are considered "only for women." In other words, men have a conservative stereotype that 'they shouldn't do such vulgar things' or 'men can't do household chores well.' The dichotomy of women by patriarchal and male-centered standards instead of respecting individuality still has a huge negative impact on women's values and the way society sees them.
