Why study history?

We study history because history repeats itself. Of course the same will not happen because the times change and develop. However, the commonality should focus on the fact that similarities are inherent in various forms of human activity. I think similar situations and characteristics can reappear even if one event is not repeated.


I think the reason we study history is because we live now and we will live in the future. Throughout history, we can learn the answers that can solve current and future events. And the reason we only discuss modern theories is that we are talking about modern theories, and we are trying to make better choices by looking back on history.
