Collective Behavior / Week12 / Kwon Ah Yeon

1. summary

Collective behavior refers to social customs that do not reflect social structures such as laws and institutions, but appear in a voluntary manner. If these collective actions are not followed properly, they can be separated by deviation. So why study group behavior? Studying collective action helps people predict situations and take countermeasures because they can understand how they will behave and what conclusions they will make.
The crowd is a gathering of people with a unified purpose and purpose. If a crowd acts violently, it becomes a mob. Without specific purposes, violent mob behavior that expresses general discontent is rioting.

2. What is interesting

It was interesting that fashion was involved in mass behavior. Things like rioting and mobs are a long story for me, but fashion is amazing because I feel it directly.

3. Discussion Point

Different people have different values and ideas. Even when you look at a topic, you have different thoughts and different inspiration. But I wonder what really affects us when we think and do the same thing.
