Q.How can we reduce the suicide rates in Korea?
A.I think the reason why our country has a high suicide rate is fierce
competition.
In Korea, we compete even before elementary school to get a good
job at a good university. Adults make children recognize their neighbors as
competitors, not friends. A person who fails to compete because of this
inhumane situation is considered a failure in society. I think we need to find
ways to reduce this competition. Finland is ranked first in education despite
not having too much competition like Korea. We need to model the country and
apply it to our country by using it
