1. Summary
There is no single consensus definition of a social movement. Mario Diani argues that nearly all definitions share three criteria: "a network of informal interactions between a plurality of individuals, groups and/or organizations, engaged in a political or cultural conflict, on the basis of a shared collective identity"

2. What was interesting/What did we learn

The moment when social movements start means there is a problem with something. And it is important to know that society is in chaos that many social movements take place. Of course this process is necessary, but too much social movement is a cycle of waste. It is also a movement that dreams of social change, which can clash with complaints from older generations. To resolve this conflict, the government and various social organizations must work together to solve social problems. In a situation where there can be tremendous damage to the people, such as a sudden restructuring, the state should act as an intermediary between companies and social groups to form a negotiation plan and solve these problems.

3.Discussion Point
As I said earlier, social movements are a movement that wants social change and can cause conflicts with the older generation. Personally, I think it's right for public authority agencies like the government to solve it. What do you think?
