Q. Is there ethnic cleansing or genocide happening today? If so,
where?
It should be, but I think it will be smaller than in the past. Ethnic
cleansing is done mainly by nationalism. However, in today's society, the
meaning of the nation is not that great. It is another matter to get along well
with other peoples, but it is difficult to see a country deport or commit
genocide because they are at least different. I think ethnic cleansing and
massacres rarely occur in modern society where individualism is stronger than
nationalism.
