The purpose of the school is to promote the growth and development of human abilities through the learning of an educator of the cultural values of the human race, and as a function of the school it is important to foster national formation, vocational training, and culture. The function of the school is to form a national character by the growth and development of students.
Professional training is divided according to various occupations. In the compulsory education phase, basic knowledge and skills acquisition, not preparation for fixed jobs, should be based on basic knowledge and skills, and it is learned to suppress the direct reflection of industrial needs in school education. It also makes us think important not only from a practical point of view, but also from a culture that cultivates the inner well-being.

Extra posting/What toys are marketed for boys, and what for girls? What do we learn through playing with gendered toys?/HanBin Bae
If you go to the mart, you can see that there are male and female toys at once. If you look at boys' toys, there are usually top plays, gun plays, Lego, soccer games, and hero characters. If you look at girls' toys, they are relatively small-scale, such as doll play, hospital play, school play, and princess stickers. Just looking at the type of toy shows a difference in the male and female tendencies. You can see that men are active, and women are relatively inactive. With these toys, you can get along with other friends very quickly. If you like people and have a lot in common, you can get along with people quickly if you have a toy that you play with. But I think there are drawbacks here. Children without toys can be ostracized from the group. I hope many toys will be released so that everyone can have fun without distinguishing between male and female toys.
Extra posting / How is our identity shaped through reactions of others? / HanBin Bae
We learn to communicate with others from childhood. The important things in the process are listening, speaking speed, facial expression, speaking, caring attitude and reactions. Each person has his or her own reactions. The reaction varies depending on the nature of the person. If the person who talks respects me, I also respect the other person. Through this interaction, I can tell who I am. People don't know exactly who they are, but they can see themselves when others see them. So you can tell what personality you are by looking at the other person's reaction to them.

Extra Posting - korea is aging - what can the government do about that? / HanBin Bae
Korea is entering an ageing age. The age of hyper-aging will soon come and we must prepare for it. I think the Government's efforts are more necessary than our efforts. Basically, Seoul is a multi-faceted center of politics, society, culture and economy. Such a hub is bound to naturally move middle-aged people to Seoul or its suburbs, along with young people who actively participate in society, causing a concentration of population. It would be helpful to have policies that prevent young people from leaving the country, or encourage them to return to the country.
It is also urgent to create a lasting 'work' for the elderly. "In order to support the livelihood of the elderly, it is necessary to find sponsors, including private companies, religious organizations and individuals, to find social enterprises to create jobs for senior citizens, and to expand jobs for public institutions," said Kim Jeong-sook, head of the senior citizens' welfare department in Seoul.

Extra Posting - Is our modern world more peaceful than the past? Can we think of some examples - or contradictions? / HanBin Bae
Peace is usually a state where there is no war between human groups. The opposite concept of war, the purpose, cause, and method of war have changed historically, so the view of war varies with the times. So peace can distinguish between the stages of development, from the limits of war to the abolition. But pacifism should not only mean a passive situation in which there is no war, but it should also include a more active attitude. Since wars are consistent in the premise of national armament, pacifism is in the opposite sense of non-war and non-military. One example is the declaration of the end of the Korean War. The situation that has been in a state of truce for the past 60 years has been resolved and the peace treaty is speaking positively. I think it's more peaceful now because there aren't as many wars around the world as there were in the past.
Extra posting - Why is terrorism seen as such a danger,so if few people have been affected by it? / HanBin Bae
Terrorism can affect the atmosphere of society without direct damage. When we see these things happening around us, we naturally become wary of them. There's no law not to happen around us right now. Whatever the purpose of this terrorist attack is, it can lead to disruption of personal activity, fear and panic disorder. It can also become a mutual distrust society due to surveillance controls. This can have a negative impact on the individual/national economy.

Extra posting/What kind of changes are needed for more equality?/ HanBin Bae
I think the change to solve gender equality should be changed from the overall atmosphere of society. We have been deeply rooted in the roles of men and women since too long ago. Sexual discrimination is happening so naturally. However, I think the problem is that we do not recognize it and take it for granted. We may have acted like that without our immediate knowledge. So I think one of the best ways is to strengthen education and not get that feeling.
Demography / Week14 / HanBin Bae
Summary
Demography is the study of changes in population, scale, distribution and composition, birth, death, migration, and social mobility. The central interest in demographics is to establish reliable metrics that measure the total number of people, birth rate, marriage and death rate. In most history, and in today's world, these measurements are very problematic. The most reliable data—Census, birth, marriage and death—returned until 200 years ago. Even when data exists, there are problems of variation and the record process is designed to be difficult to interpret, especially in economically underdeveloped areas and where bureaucracy is not efficient. Evaluation of demographic trends requires reliable and long-term data, and the way in which a series of data is scaled back and back is of great importance.
Interesting
Increasingly, people living in rural and rural areas are moving to cities. So, the term urbanization arose. Urbanization is the physical growth of urban areas as a result of global change. The United Nations also defines urbanization as a population increase, such as the migration of population from rural to urban. The United Nations predicted that half of the world's population will live in urban areas by the end of 2008. Urbanization is closely linked to the modernisation, industrialization, and social rationalization processes.
Discussion
As I said above, many people are moving to the city. Although the primary industry has remained in the rural areas, the second and third industrialization has brought many people to the cities. Why do so many people move to the city? Tell me what you think. In addition, the world population has increased a lot. Do you think the world is over-populated?

Extra posting / Where else can we see inequality of power and conflict in our society? / HanBin Bae
It is common in school life. Schools are often fought to establish their place as people say they are a world of parenting. The lower the grade, the worse it seems. There are many students who are not mature enough to grow up. I know it's strength because I don't know anything. That power afflicts weak children and women. I think it is part of feeling the difference in equality from an early age.

Family / Week13 / HanBin Bae
Summary
A family is a social unit consisting of a couple and their children, and it is also the most basic unit of society. If a family is defined this way, it is almost universal in all societies, such as in the case of marriage. Like many other concepts used in social science, however, it is difficult for families to have strict definitions that apply to different social cases in a comparative culture. A family is defined as "a community of people who live together and are characterized by economic cooperation and the production of children." This definition is consistent with the definition of a family that we usually think of. In other words, the members of a family make up a family, live together, act as an economic cooperative, and give birth to a child through a socially recognized sexual relationship.
Interesting
The current trend seems to be that many people think marriage is an unconditional choice. So, why do single men and women think of "unmarriage" rather than "marriage"? When asked why they thought of marrying single men and women who were not married, 68.3 percent said they wanted to live freely in both work and personal life. These answers were highest for both single men and single women. Next, some single men said they thought about their non-marriage because they wanted to live more and more financially.
Discussion
As mentioned above, why are people increasingly not getting married? Do you think it will be difficult to invest time/expenses for me after marriage? Is it burdensome to have and raise children? Are you used to and satisfied with your current life? I think there are so many reasons that I think it is the responsibility of the country to create the society. So what should society do to encourage marriage?

Extra Posting - Women don't get promoted. why? / HanBin Bae
1. The wages of each worker are determined by factors such as personal ability, education, career, etc. The differences exist between men and women. It is said that women's education is traditionally lower than men's, and that in world history, women's education and careers will be lower than men's.
2. The education level of women and men is almost the same these days. So another reason was the career break due to the birth and childrearing of women. Even if women and men enter the company at the same time, men can continue their careers, but women often lose their careers when they are given birth or child. Recently, many systems such as paternity leave were introduced to solve this problem, but the data was not well reflected because of the early introduction. Even if you return to work, the wage difference between men who have been in the workforce is natural.
3. Another reason that has been consistently raised academically is that there is a gender wage gap because women work relatively in jobs where there is no opportunity for promotion or training.
As mentioned in number two, women often lose their careers because they quit their jobs because of childcare or childbirth. If you jump into the labor market again, you will mainly be engaged in low-paying or irregular-paying jobs that have limited chances of promotion.

Extra Posting : is rising inequality something to be worried about / HanBin Bae
As the Gini coefficient increases, there is a growing income inequality. We are very worried about the growing inequality. To deal with this part of poverty, the Financial Policy Committee and the Government must make every effort for the poor and the working class. One of the financial policies is the new theory of low-income lending.
It is the first of its kind, and it provides policy financing for self-employed and small business owners who are struggling in various government offices such as Credit Guarantee Fund, Small Business Corporation, Technology Guarantee and Small Business Administration. It also requires a lot of support for small and medium-sized businesses, technical companies and young businesses. And I think that's going to bring some relief to income inequality, to the poor, to the working class, to stimulate consumption, to change markets.
Social Movements / Week12 / HanBin Bae
Summary
A social movement is a wide range of collective actions by people who want to block or influence the embodiment of social change in a society. Social movements begin informally at first, although they develop into parties, highly organized interest groups, pressure groups, and sometimes party or institutional groups.
Interesting
There are four special areas in modern society where social movements take place. First, as a democratic movement, it is interested in maintaining or shaping political rights. Second, as a labor movement, it is interested in changing the defensive control of the workplace and the more general distribution of economic power. Third, as an environmental movement, I am interested in preventing environmental and social losses caused by the transformation of the natural world by social behavior. Fourth, as a peace movement, it challenges the broader impact of aggressive nationalism and military power. Considering this point, I think women's and consumerism are examples of other important recent campaigns.
Discussion
There are so many social movements as we have seen them and saw them. I think this kind of social movement will happen in the future. So what are the criteria for failure and success? What do you think social movements mean by success?

Extra posting/Do you think this could happen?/ HanBin Bae
As inequality increases, I think there will be a charismatic leader or revolution. If they were all equal, no one would come forward and try to solve anything. I think it's quite possible that people are buried in the current of their lives. There will be many people who are willing to live in an unequal life. On the other hand, there must be people who don't like an unequal life and want to get over it and change the world. I think this kind of thinking will lead to a revolution and produce more charismatic leaders.

The_Causes_of_War / Week11 / HanBin Bae
Summary
We could see the causes of war in a variety of disciplines. There are as many different accounts of the difficulties of studying the causes of war as there are of almost different numbers of wars. "It is difficult to extract a powerful general principle that explains and categorizes the transformation from peace to war or from war," Bolding said. Therefore, when it comes to the causes of war, it is most desirable to define them in a comprehensive range of psychology, sociology, anthropology, and politics. In other words, ways of constraining humans and human activities that give incentives and purposes to group behavior will provide a more useful means of revealing the causes of war.
Interesting
What was really interesting was that the cause of the war could be reflected in conflict theory. It was very interesting because it was a totally unexpected way. A micro-level approach to war causes looked at the causes of conflict, focusing on the role of 'psychological factors,' as well as theories that seek out the origin of conflict and the cause of war in human nature and human behavior.
Discussion
While all of these points provide useful insight into the causes of war, neither can be established as a complete general theory of the causes of war. In other words, although these may explain the conditions or factors that could lead to war, they do not provide a more specific explanation of why war actually takes place. So I wondered why the cause of the war actually occurred. Historically, there have been many wars, each for its own reasons. Through these historical records, I want to know why war actually takes place.

Conflict_Theory / Week11 / HanBin Bae
Summary
Conflict theory is the theory that explains social phenomena as conflict and division rather than harmony and consensus. There is Marxist conflict of interest in economic class conflict and beaverish conflict of interest in inequality of power and authority.
The hostile contradictions of class society inevitably lead to conflict, which is Marx's theory that a conflict ends with the triumph of one class and the fall of another. It can happen between all social classes in the social sector, or between individuals, or even within one individual. Conflicts between social classes are based on their conflict of class interests, or hostile contradictions. However, the concept of conflict is not the same as the concept of "enemy." There is not always a hostile contradiction at the base of every conflict in the realm of society. And despite its non-hostile nature, the contradictions that characterize the socialist society can lead to conflict.
Interesting
What's interesting is how to resolve this conflict. Conflicts really happen a lot in our society. They also try a lot to reduce conflict. However, it does not necessarily resolve the conflict-based contradictions unconditionally. Whether the conflict is resolved as well as its inconsistencies depends on whether all the conditions, means and possibilities are given to resolve the contradiction already underlying the conflict at the time it takes place.
Discussion
As mentioned above, resolving conflicts does not solve everything. We need to find the source and find the core. However, I think it will be difficult to find such problems easily. So I wonder. Are there any fundamental solutions, examples, or research papers to resolve this conflict? I would really appreciate it if you let me know.

Extra posting: What's the meaning of "Yellow ribbon"? / HanBin Bae
The message "I won't forget" is a symbol derived from a wait for a wife or family member who has a husband who is participating in the war to tie a yellow ribbon to a tree and hope for safe return.
In Korea, a yellow ribbon campaign began in hopes of a safe return of hundreds of missing people after the sinking of the ferry near Jindo on April 16, 2014. The yellow ribbon with the phrase "One small movement is a miracle" spread to social networking sites such as Kakao Talk and Facebook, which led to a nationwide campaign.

Extra posting: What is more important : the actions of individuals or the environment that influences them? /HanBin Bae
The environment seems to be more important. The social and economic circumstances of a family change one's behavior. Children who are not well-off in their childhood will not necessarily have a good result if they try to do so. On the other hand, children with good family backgrounds can often do what they want to do and produce good results with relatively less effort. I have also experienced such situations and there are many similar situations when I watch internet and TV as well as around me. I don't think it's any wonder that parents get caught up in an atmosphere where they don't get along with bad friends.

Extra Posting: How can we reduce the suicide rates in korea? / HanBin Bae
It is important that we reveal the suicide problem without hiding it. Openness, transparency, and dialogue are more important than anything else. We also need to socialize the suicide problem. In the past, there was a perception that suicide is a personal problem, but we should change it to the perception that it is a social problem.
Japan, which has been losing its suicide rate, is spending 75.8 billion won on related budgets, but Korea's budget for next year is only 20 billion won. I think it also needs more active support from the authorities concerned.
Finally, the public-private council, which is closely connected with the public, needs to find, consult, and rescue high-risk soldiers in each region, including doctors, lawyers, teachers, former government officials and experts in job support from large corporations. When transferring a suicide attempt to a hospital, a government official in charge of preventing suicide should be sent to the hospital and given appropriate relief measures. Support for the families of suicide victims should also be provided. I think all these efforts could bring down the suicide rate.

Extra Posting: why inequality creates disoder? / HanBin Bae
Inequality is basically not distributed equally to everyone, resulting in differences between people. From birth, they are divided into the person who has and does not have the right to live different lives. Then some people will naturally begin to compare themselves with others and blame themselves for their lives. In the end, more people will be released and this will lead to disorder. Anarchy is an indeterminate state, a chaotic situation or an unstable, chaotic situation.
