In Korea, a yellow ribbon campaign began in hopes of a safe return of hundreds of missing people after the sinking of the ferry near Jindo on April 16, 2014. The yellow ribbon with the phrase "One small movement is a miracle" spread to social networking sites such as Kakao Talk and Facebook, which led to a nationwide campaign.
