1. summary
Our biological characteristics alone do not
determine who we are. Culture is also necessary to determine our
characteristics. Culture is the non-biological, human life, and all human
learning is part of culture. Culture includes things, actions, norms, values,
beliefs, symbols and etc. In certain societies culture is not entirely strict. I
also learned one of the ways to understand culture. The model is an
integrationist model led by Ritzer. This model is particularly useful when
understanding the role of culture in research.Culture is neither fixed nor
restricted. It can be anything that can give meaning.
2.
Interesting point
Culture can be anything we
can have meaning." Therefore, it would be a point to discuss how far one
can recognize it as a culture. Nevertheless, it is interesting to see that
there are models that can study culture. In study of culture, I felt that the
process of how is more important than the result.

Discussion point
Have you ever seen the
news that there are people protesting because of different eating habits? For
example, dog food protests. The public opinion was divided into "you have
to recognize culture, not just slaughter." It's a really difficult
question, but should I recognize it as a culture? If you don't, how far can you
be recognized as a culture?
Considering the social background of Korea in the old days, I think eating dogs is an act for survival. But I think dog eating culture is a culture that is declining after modern times.
