Do you think sociologists should take side or try to be neutral?
I think sociologists should be neutral. This is because they talk about the community rather than about individual humans. But I don't think there's any need to get stuck in a frame called 'neutral'. It is because the criteria for 'neutral' cannot be accurately measured, and I think talking about one's views on society forms the basis of sociology. I think it is necessary to maintain neutrality and speak with the head of state.
