Do you think the sociologists should take side or try to be netural?
Sociologists will not be able to maintain
neutrality. Many of the experiences and studies encountered in studying
sociology emphasize neutrality of researchers, but humans cannot be neutral.
Eventually you'll be on one side, and in that situation you can call for
neutrality and have no effect. The only thing that can maintain perfect
neutrality is the Deus Ex Machina, neither humans nor machines.
