There is no answer to what a sociologist should have, but I think it is not bad to make biased arguments only if one pursues social change, because change entails human perception and stimulation is essential for this process. Therefore, while the biased view of sociologists may be criticized, I believe that it is necessary to change the perception through strong arguments.
