Conflict theory/ week11/ Yerim Han 한예림

1.summary
The basic premise of conflict theory is that there are individuals and groups in society and are trying to maximize their share of limited resources that humans want. Conflicts are caused by the degree of human interaction, normal and inevitable changes in society, competition for scarce resources (e.g. money, leisure, sex partners, etc.). Class conflict refers to the struggle between groups that occupy different socio-economic positions in the same society, and social class talk about one aspect of social position determined by means of production or the relationship of power, prestige and wealth.

2. What I interesting...
I am surprised that there is a conflict in sociology. Studying conflict itself was interesting, and I learned from a social perspective, that it was caused by the scarcity of classes and resources.

3.Discussion
So, isn't there a conflict in the socialist framework that divides everything equally?

1 comment:

  1. I think there is conflict in the socialist system. Because even though we distribute it equally, it is thought that the individual needs are different and conflict can happen. And there will also be those who want to own more than others.
