Q. Is modern democracy really "the will of the people"?
A. I think modern democracy is "the will of the people". Because our country had a constant struggle for the right democracy. People have been fighting since the 1960s to fight against dictatorship. I think democracy now is the result of this struggle. Without people's effort, today's democracy would not have happened. Therefore, we should regard democracy as an expression of these people's will.
