Q. Why as people get richer, they become less religious?
A. I think that getting richer is more be educated. Education makes people rational and logical. Therefore, religion can be just one "superstition" to them. Also, the poor live through their religious beliefs. They may think that by faith they can be saved from poverty. Also, the richer they are, the less religion is included in the priority list. They are only interested in money and don't care about religion. And religious practices can waste time and may think that they are interrupted by certain customs.
