Q. Why is God Christianity often portrayed as a male?
A. Only men were considered important in the Christian era. The idea that women were weak and incompetent was prevalent. In those times, God, who saves the world, would have been a man of ability and strength. This is because people had to set their god as men to be accepted a little more.
