Conflict / week11 / Juhee Cha

1. Summary
Conflict Theory The society consists of individuals and groups seeking different interests, which claim to be in the relationship of confrontation, competition, conflict and change. Social stratification, inequality in wealth and power, drug abuse and crime are examples of modern times. I have summarized some of the key topics of conflict theory. Marx said Proletarian and bourgeoisie compete to control scarce resources. Weber said that Protestant Ethic tried to create an environment in which the capital struggle against resources could flourish.

2. Interesting point
The theoretical assumptions that constitute conflict are interesting. Theoretical assumptions include interaction, change, competition, structural inequality, degree of inequality, and revolution. It was commiserated to say that there was an interaction that caused a collision. Had it not been for interaction, there would not have been conflicting conditions.

3. discussion point
Conflict theory argued that the difference between power and wealth creates inequality. How society is inequality wouldn't have to work? How should resources be allocated?
