Q. Is modern democracy really "the will of the people"?

A. I think not. In the past, when democracy first began in Athens, everyone did politics in person. However, in present democracy, we believe that they represent the people and represent our opinions. There are more people who are indifferent to politics, and there are many who do not vote. Even politicians elected by the people do not keep their promises. So I think it's hard to see this as the will of everyone.
