What's the meaning of yellow ribbon

The yellow ribbon appeared for the first time in a song about a woman wearing a yellow ribbon in the fourth century, hoping for a safe return of her beloved. Starting with this, yellow ribbons were used in the United States in the 1970s as a symbol of people's safe return. In Korea, the government hopes that students will return safely in the wake of the 2014 Sewol ferry disaster. Many people have never seen a yellow ribbon in this matter. But since 2005, there has been a yellow ribbon. The Grand National Party once participated in a campaign to mount yellow ribbons to pray for the safe return of the abductees.
