Week 11/conflict theory/김권수 kwonsoo Kim

Summary: The basis of the conflict was based on early philosophies such as the study of ancient Chinese philosophers, the birth of human beings, the Polyvius Roman government. Philosophers of the 19th and 20th centuries believed conflict was an essential part and sociologists contributed to the development of conflict theory. Marx wrote a book with his friend Angles. Marx's commitment to social change led him to focus most of his research on revolutionary class disputes in industrial societies. Karl Marx died a poor man, but his work and ideas affected the modern world. He saw conflicts mainly stem from class conflicts within the industrial and economic sectors.

Interesting point: It was surprising that many philosophers thought conflict was an essential part.

Discussion: When Marx said conflict usually stems from class conflict, what are wars like World War II from?
