Socialization is the process that people learn the functions in social life. Socialization is important process. This could be proved by people who are not socialized by adults. Some children could be teach to not eat and talk with others, or acclimatized of being attacked. As we can see in this example, socialization is important. Arnet presented the big three goal of socialization. : impulse control, preparing their roles, and knowing what is important.
2. what is interesting
It was interesting that socialization includes virtually everything, excludes almost nothing, and shifts with circumstance and outcomes. Of course socialization is important but I thought individualization also takes value.
3. discussion point
How should we act who are not socialized because of their environment? We know that we should act with respect but what if they act just what they want?
