Stratification / Week9 / HanBin Bae

Summary
The scarcity value of property or power that many members of society want is socially limited, and members struggle to have more of it first. In the end, however, the values that society members consider important are distributed much to some groups and less to others. As a result, some people's positions are ranked high and important while others' positions are low and non-critical. This is a social inequality. In this world, people are judged differently by various criteria, which are often given higher altitudes, not simply 'different'. These heights create various group distinctions.

Interesting
In a world where short height is called loser, and fatness is considered neglectful of self-care. There is also more traditional discrimination. Those who graduate from college earn relatively higher salaries than those who graduate from high school. A man's salary is higher than a woman's.?There are various inequalities in society. Consider your peers in your classroom: gender, education, occupation, disability, marriage, wealth, race, race, religion,  Which is more important in the classroom, boys or girls? Is it in the order of 'Women - Men' or 'Women - Girls'? How much income do we have in our home compared to our classmates? This order of importance among groups is the beginning of social inequality.

Discussion
As mentioned above, inequality caused by social stratification is inevitable. No matter how much the state or government tries to reduce such stratification, it is not enough. I think they are rather dividing the classes. If then, What can be done to lessen the negative effects of inequality on people’s lives?
