Demography/ Week 14/ MinSeung Sung

1. Summary

Demography is a demographic that studies population change. It studies the size, structure, and distribution of the population. And investigate how it has changed. The above research can explain many complex social phenomena. And add strength to theory by explaining social phenomena through figures. Demography's history has changed slowly, making social and scientific changes. For example, if in the beginning, it was a life table based on mathematical feet, it is now used as a basis for political purposes.
Demographic indicators are used in many ways. The most important use is the date of birth and death. This is a verility. In addition, migration trends and people's movements can be important indicators.

2. Interesting

The most interesting thing was the breakdown of the characteristics of the character.
We divided it into six categories and explained the veracity. The crude birthday rate freaks out a person born out of a thousand people a year. The general rate investigates the percentage of women who have children. The age-specific rate is how many women of a certain age had given birth. In this way, women's pregnancy and childbirth are used as important indicators.

3.Discussion

One of the most prominent features of modern Korean society is the decline in women's pregnancy rate. As one of the key indicators of Demographic is the birth rate of women, I wonder what the statistics will be like in Korea.
