  Q : why is terrorism seen as such a danger, if so few people have been affected by it? 

  A : Terrorism is less likely to occur, but the reason why it is dangerous is because the negative consequences of it are so great. Terrorism not only kills innocent civilians but it can rock a nation's pillar. When national security is threatened, all the people in that country are in danger. Loss of life and property. Terrorism is also more dangerous because it happens without notice. Terrorism in a defenseless state has a greater impact.
