For me, God in Christianity is often portrayed as a male because of the male that is a figured of father. In Catholic od Christian, we have Jesus as our rolemodel, and in christianity, Jesus is Father’s, or God’s Son. There is Holy Family, that is Saint Mary, Jesus, and God. This is the example of how Christianity has Jesus as our role model, and I think, male characteristics are leading and take control, than female character that is soft, that’s why many Rolemodel in religion use male as the character.
