What was interesting / what did you
learn ?
After I read the articles, it is
sound familiar for me about the theoretical understanding of socialization
because I’ve learn these theories in my home university, and it is sound
familiar about symbolic interactionism, role theory, reinforcement theory, and
internalization theory, and I learned that socialization is very important and
it should be done from we were kids.
Discussion point :
I’m curious and a little bit
confused about racial difference, Why
racial difference have roles in socialization?
Like any difference that human have(religion, nationality, etc.) Racial difference allows the different 'right' socialization for each person. Therefore certain socialization should not be forced on anyone.
