I think the reason why there are so many
plastic surgery patients in Korea is really diverse. I've thought three things
out loud.
First, beauty has also become competitive
in a competitive society. There was a movement at one time that caused this
issue to block pictures from being placed in applications. Unfortunately, I
think more people are performing simple procedures as beauty becomes
competitive.
Secondly, there will be Western influences.
Korea is also introduced Western culture. Perhaps the encounter with Western
culture has led to the yearning for the unique big eyes and snappy jaw lines.
Finally, I think it is a change of perception.
Although people used to hide the fact that people had a plastic surgery before,
people feel open about it in the media and in the real world these days.
