1, summary
A theory is an explanation of why and how something happens.
This article explains several sociological theories.
Structural-Functionalism, Conflict Theory, Symbolic Interactionism, Role Theory, Feminist Theory, Integration Theory, etc.
The reason why sociological theory is important is that it serves as a link between two different concepts and that it explains the process.
That theorys is not always right in the process of being discussed.
However, the above theories are widely used because they are persuasive and are optimized for society.
2. What was interesting / What did you learn
After reading the symbolic interaction theory, I thought it was difficult and very interesting.
I found it interesting that human behavior was the result of learning and internalizing society, history, and culture.
It is because I believe that human behavior and attitudes will change as society changes and that meaning will expand.
Therefore, I think that symbolic interactions will form patterns in social structure.

3. Discussion Point
In conflict theory, society is constantly competing for limited resources, which in the process when competition heats up, only the strong or the rich become a better society to live in.
Poverty, wealth, and knowledge and learning opportunities are reverted. How can we solve this?

In order to solve this problem, I think we should eventually become a communist society. Marx, who suggested conflict theory, is also a supporter of communism. However, even Marx claimed communism was virtually impossible in modern society. I see such conflicts as insoluble in modern society.

I agree. I believe that income distribution by countries such as after school and support for low-income people should be actively conducted to ease the flow of wealth.
