Macro Structure: Culture, Religion, Economy, Government / Week 3 / Zhang peiyao

1. Summary
What is culture? It's really hard to define a culture exactly or precisely. Through the article, I know that culture is the entire spiritual activity and product of human beings relative to economy and politics. Culture is a very broad and most humanistic concept. In simple terms, culture is the general term for the life elements of regional human beings. Culture is a unique phenomenon of human society, including the ideological nature of world outlook, outlook on life and values, as well as non-ideological aspects such as natural science and technology, language and writing. Human life is only a small part of culture. The evolution of culture is a long process, multi-layered, and each level may interact in complex ways.

2.  What was interesting/what did you learn
I am very interested in the cultural differences reflected at the beginning of the article. So what are cultural differences? In my opinion, cultural differences refer to the differences caused by differences and similarities in different regions and the cultural differences unique to people in different regions. Such procedures vary from one group, region, or country to another. Cultural differences result from differences in national culture, regional culture, customs culture and religious culture.

3. Discussion Point
Cultural differences in modern society are inevitable. So what do you think about cultural differences? Would you try to understand or just say no? What else do you know about cultural differences?
