Introduction to Sociology, Culture and Religion
1. Summary
Human behavior and relationship is related to social environment.
It is not from nature but from nurture. What affects human behavior?
That's our society. Society is not just about relationship between each other but about bigger scale of culture. That is called Macro Structure. Macro Structure involves economy, culture, social and Politics. All these structure influence people's idea and values. Hundreds of years ago, People's idea is definitely different from ours. Even hundreds of years ago, their gene might same to ours. But all the time people's idea have changed, and now still changing. So it is not from nature but from our society we live in. Not just culture but Economy, Politics, Social is also crucial part of forming our thoughts. Government's policy easily change our lifestyle. Culture, Economy, Politics, Social is related to one and another. When one part changes, another part changes too.
2. Interesting
This is a very interesting part of sociology that our thought is not from me. Many people believe that their thought is their own. But When we learn about the sociology, we realize that our think is not naturally from me. Society unknowingly affects us. So making people think about their own thoughts. This subject is one of the best part of Sociology. I really interesting about how they interact. Social, Economy, Politics, Culture.
3. Discussion Point
Our society's all part is related to others. I really wonder someone's intention to make the world someone's wants, Is it possible someone to change the Society in the way she wants? And Can culture back the way it was? like 1700's lifestyle again?
