Extra posting / Can we think of examples of cultures that were not tolerated in Korea in the past but became accepted in recent years? / week7 / Kwon Ah Yeon

Q: Can we think of examples of cultures that were not tolerated in Korea in the past but became accepted in recent years?

A: I think Tatu is a prime example. In the past, it was thought that gangsters and members of the group expressed resistance through tattoos. But now, they can express their personality through a tattoo or carve something special in their body. For the sake of personal satisfaction and beauty, one can see people getting tattoos, not necessarily for a grand reason.
