Politics / Week 5 / HanBin Bae

Summary
Political science is the study of politics or political phenomena as an area of social science. Before we can define the concept of politics, we need to look at political or political phenomena. Political or political phenomena occur in human society. As a social animal, humans inevitably seek to pursue happiness through relationships between humans. Humans are not isolated beings, but communal beings who live together.

Interesting
What's interesting is that the approach varies. In order for any academic discipline to be established as an independent study, the "target and method" as an academic must be established first. Generally, a method refers to a procedure or process that includes the skills and tools needed to be used in research and to analyze, test and evaluate theories. And the methodology is a specific way to present, organize, and shape research. The method of study of politics is the method used to gain a more accurate understanding and knowledge of the subject. The method of political science research is to be divided into traditional methods of study, behavioral studies, and systematic analysis and approach to structural and functionalism and examined.

Discussion
Young people have little interest in politics. So the turnout is also low. How could you get more young people to vote? Tell me your opinion.

  1. I’m interested with your discussion.I think young people today don't feel much connected to society. And people who haven't settled are less likely to care about political decisions. In many U.S. states, people are required to show their government-issued identification CARDS for voting. Many young people in the United States don't even have a driver's license, a hunting license, or a passport. It's annoying to ask them to get an id card for voting. If a similar problem can be solved, more and more young people should vote.

  2. Politics should use social networks to attract young people. It is hard to find the 20s who do not use SNS. Therefore, promoting political participation through social networking services will be very effective.
