Politics / 5 week / Kang SeoJong (강서종)

1.summary

Types of government are monarchy, democracy, totalitarianism, oligarchy, communist state, and new government.
Monarchy is a form of government that is ruled by an absolute power body, and democracy is a form of control or sovereignty by citizens within the state. In addition, totalitarianism is a political system that tries to regulate almost every aspect of public and private life, and oligarchy is a form of government that depends on the small elite segment of society distinguished by property, family, military and religious hegemony. Finally, the communist state is a form of government that characterizes the Communist party's one-party rule and public loyalty to communist ideology as the principle of national will, and the divine nature of government is regarded by its chief executive.

2.interesting

It has been said that women are generally more likely to vote in developed countries in terms of politics and gender, but women are less likely to vote in their political positions. Women said they accounted for only a small percentage of elected officials at the local and national levels. In Korea, many politicians are male. There is a large gap between men and women. I think that's because social status makes us politicians. Ordinary politicians are mostly high corporate executives and highly educated people. Although women's human rights have grown a lot in Korea, 20 or 30 years ago, there were fewer opportunities for education than for men and less opportunities for higher positions. Also, politicians in their 50s and 60s, not in their 20s and 30s, are influenced by the times and believe that politicians have a different sex ratio.

3. discussion

The U.S. also said that younger people would enjoy many benefits and that younger people would suffer from crisis. In Korea, the turnout has increased a lot. I think young people have a small turnout. I think it takes new ideas and opinions from young people to change the disadvantages of older generations. I also think politicians of young age are necessary. How can we improve the voting pool of young people and elect politicians of young age?
