1. Summary
Politics is the process of a group of people making socio-economic decisions.
Types of government include Monarchy, Democracy, Totalitarianism, Oligarchy, Communist State, Theocracy, and Theocracy. The Korean government is Democracy. The characteristic of Democracy is that citizens have equal rights and enjoy equal freedom.
2. What was interesting / What did you learn
Politics, gender, age, race, and class change the chances of voting. Women are more likely to vote in developed countries, but their political positions are minimal. Young people are less likely to vote than old people, so politicians are less likely. Racial and ethnic minorities find it difficult to vote in elections
3. Discussion Point
Why is it that women don't get much of a political position? What efforts are needed to raise the voting rate for young people?
